Kostic’s experimental film “Persistence of Memory” premiered at the opening of MaerzMusik festival in Berlin, Germany in conjunction with Joan La Barbara’s concert work of the same name. The theme of the festival was “Cage and Consequences” celebrating the 100th anniversary of John Cage’s birth.
Aleksander’s award-winning work has been screened internationally at the PÖFF Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, Museum of the Moving Image with Queens World Film Festival, Philip K Dick Film Festival, MaerzMusik Festival in Berlin, Anthology archive NYC, and others.
Aleksandar has also produced hundreds of commercial projects for television and the web through his company, Kostic Films, LLC.
